Dr. Will Tso, PT, DPT, earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Daemen College (now Daemen University) in 2014. His career has taken him from his hometown of Toronto to clinics in Virginia and West Virginia before bringing him back to Buffalo, where he co-owns Lake Erie Physical Therapy.
Will is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), the McKenzie Method, an internationally used approach to assessing and treating spine and joint problems based on how symptoms respond to specific movements. He is also Level 1 certified in blood flow restriction training, which lets patients build strength with lighter loads when heavy lifting is not yet appropriate.
In the clinic, Will combines the McKenzie approach with hands-on manual therapy, exercise and clear education, so patients understand their problem and leave with tools to manage it on their own. He keeps up with ongoing professional development so his treatment reflects current evidence.
